Rural Emergency
Plan Pack

Stay organised. Stay calm. Be ready.

RuralReady

Why Rural Ready

Built for rural Britain — not adapted from somewhere else.

Genuinely British

Pre-filled with 999, 101, 111, 105, the Environment Agency flood service and the Priority Services Register. No US phone numbers, no FEMA, no irrelevant filler.

Rural by design

Space for livestock plans, what3words locations, satellite internet, oil and LPG heating, and the realities of living somewhere the mains might be out for days, not hours.

Print it or fill it on screen

Every document ships as both a print-ready PDF and a fillable PDF with proper form fields — so you can save a digital master and keep printed copies by the fuse box.

Written from experience

Drafted by someone with fifteen years on a North Pennines Parish Council and a background in community emergency response — not generated and forgotten.

About

From a North Pennines kitchen table.

Rural Ready was built out of fifteen years of Parish Council meetings, power cuts that lasted days, roads cut off by snow, and the lived experience of looking after vulnerable neighbours when the nearest emergency service was an hour away on a clear day.

Most emergency preparedness guides are written for cities. This one isn't. Every form, checklist and action plan has been drafted for households whose nearest shop is miles away, whose heating is oil or LPG, and whose plan needs to include the livestock as well as the people.

Every pack is reviewed each October, before the winter risk period.
